36mm Rolex Day-Date "President" with Champagne Stick Dial in Solid 18kt Yellow Gold (1980)

Introduced in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date was the first wristwatch to display the day of the week spelled out in full, and it remains the most prestigious watch in the Rolex collection. It is crafted exclusively in precious metals, 18k yellow, white or Everose gold and platinum. It is paired with the President bracelet, created for this model, whose name has become synonymous with the watch itself. An arched day window at 12 o'clock and the date beneath a Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock give it a perfectly balanced dial. The Day-Date is offered in a classic 36mm and a modern 40mm, with dials from understated stick markers to rare stones and diamond settings. It has long been worn by leaders and achievers as a mark of distinction.

Each handbag and accessory is examined by our specialists, then independently verified by a third-party authenticator. Every hand bag is presented with its own Certificate of Authenticity.

Timepiece Warranty

Some timepieces may still carry time remaining on the manufacturer’s original guarantee. Any manufacturer coverage is provided solely by the manufacturer under its own terms and generally requires the original warranty card. As an independent dealer of authenticated pre-owned timepieces, we are not an official retailer of Rolex or any other brand.

Pre-owned timepieces beyond their manufacturer’s guarantee are covered by our own one-year Limited Warranty, which covers the movement’s timekeeping and defects in workmanship. Water damage, impact, cosmetic wear, straps, batteries, and service by anyone other than Southern Timepiece are not covered.
